Highlights of the “Follow the Lied” program will include Schubert’s music for voice, french horn, violin, cello and piano, as well as two modern works based on the music of Schubert–”but time will tell,” a piece for solo piano by Heidi Jacob (composer, cellist, and conductor Jacob is Associate Professor of Music at Haverford College); and “November 19, 1828,” a work for piano, violin, viola and cello by well-known Boston composer John Harbison.
The performers will be Ida Faiella, Soprano; Charles Abramovic, Piano; Joseph Anderer, French Horn; Dale Stuckenbruck, Violin; and Jesse Levy, Cello. This marks a L’Ensemble debut for Anderer, who is the Principal Horn of the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra

The Center for Communication in Medicine will host a special screening of the award winning documentary, “Boys of 2nd Street Park” on Friday, March 24, 2017 at 7pm. The screening will be held at Oldcastle Theater, 331 Main Street, Bennington, Vermont. All proceeds will benefit the Center for Communication in Medicine’s (CCM) SpeakSooner Community Education Programs.
Tickets for the event are $25.00 and available through Oldcastle Theatre. Limited seating.
