The Center for Communication in Medicine will host a special screening of the award winning documentary, “Boys of 2nd Street Park” on Friday, March 24, 2017 at 7pmThe screening will be held at Oldcastle Theater, 331 Main Street, Bennington, Vermont. All proceeds will benefit the Center for Communication in Medicine’s (CCM) SpeakSooner Community Education Programs.
 Tickets for the event are $25.00 and available through Oldcastle Theatre. Limited seating.



Yoshiko & Christopher Lewis

Yoshiko Sato and Christopher Lewis Saturday March 25th at 3 p.m.


The duo has been playing the complete Beethoven Sonata series at various venues in the area. There are 32 sonatas altogether. This will be the fifth concert in the series. The previous four presented 14 of the sonatas.

Yoshika Sato studied at Keio University in Tokyyo, at the Hart School of Music in Connecticut and at the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris in France. She has given recitals in Japan, the United States, France, and Switerland, and has appeared as soloist with the Manchester Symphony Orchestra, the Orquestra de Cambra de L’Emporda in Spain, the Hart Symphony Orchestra, and with the Sage City Symphony

Christopher Lewis has taught and performed throughout the U.S., Italy and British Columbia, having given concerts at such major venues as Carnegie, Weill and Alice Tully Halls in New York City, Orchestra Hall in Detroit and the empire State Performing Arts Center in Albany.  He was a prizewinner in the Ameridan National Chopin Competition and NY Leschetizky Society Competition and has recorded on Newport Classics label. Lewis has held faculty positions at New York University as well as at private schools in New York City and currently teaches at Bennington College.
