From the West (Albany area)

Bennington is approximately 50 minutes east of Albany, New York (the intersection of I-87 and I-90). From I-87 North (New York State Thruway - from NYC), take the exit for I-787 north and then exit I-787 at Route 7 (Troy/Bennington). From I-90 East (New York State Thruway - from Buffalo), take exit for I-87 north and exit I-87 at Route 7 east. From I-87 South (The "Northway" from Saratoga, Glens Falls, Lake Placid, Plattsburgh) - take exit for I-87 north and exit I-87 at Route 7 east.

Route 7 East becomes VT Route 9 at the New York/Vermont (Bennington) border. Route 9 will take you into Downtown Bennington/Main Street. Oldcastle Theatre (brick building) is at 331 Main Street, on the right after Greenberg’s Hardware.

From the East:

Eastern Vermont and Northern New England (ME, NH)
VT Route 9, the major East/West route of Bennington, intersects I-91 in Brattleboro, VT Exit 2. Considered by many to be a beautiful scenic route in 4 seasons, Route 9 climbs and travels through the lower portion of the Green Mountains. When you arrive in Bennington, you will be on Main Street. Continue through the main intersection (which intersects Route 7/North-South Street---look for the clock!) and Oldcastle Theatre is half a block past the intersection, on your left at 331 Main Street.

From the North:

From Western Vermont and Northeastern New York
Travelers from the Lake George/Glens Falls area of New York, will want to reach US Route 22 South to Cambridge, NY. Just south of Cambridge in the town of Hoosick Falls, Route 67A will bring you into Bennington via North Bennington. Stay on 67A until it reaches 7A (Northside Drive). 7A crosses US Route 7, Bennington's major North/South road. Route 7 crosses VT Route 9 in Downtown Bennington, Bennington's major East/West route, at the first major intersection (look for the clock!). Take a right onto Main Street, and Oldcastle Theatre (brick building) is halfway down the block on your left, at 331 Main Street.

From the South:

Southern New England (MA, CT, RI)
US route 7, which crosses I-90 (the Mass Pike) in Lee, Massachusetts, continues north into Vermont and crosses VT Route 9 at the main intersection of Downtown Bennington (look for the clock!). Take a left onto Main Street; Oldcastle Theatre (brick building) is halfway down the block on your left, at 331 Main Street.
